The Bahtera Dwipa Abadi Foundation (YBDA) is a non-profit organization engaged in improving the quality of life of the local communities, especially the coconut ecosystem community in Indonesia. In its activities YBDA strives to improve the dignity and welfare of the coconut ecosystem through cooperation and partnerships. Founded in 1991 by Mr. Tay Juhana, YBDA has contributed to the regional development of the Indragiri Hilir region, Riau, and further, our ambition is to reach out to the entire coconut ecosystem community in Indonesia. Throughout our journey, YBDA has initiated the construction of a number of public facilities such as schools, clinics, transportation routes, places of worship, and others. In addition to infrastructure development for its community, YBDA has also organized several social activities and support for coconut farmers community so that it will significantly increase the dignity of local farmers in Indonesia.
Currently, YBDA is in the process of strengthening its organizational structure and compiling re-strategy in an effort to keep up with global developments. For that, YBDA invite individuals with similar interests and passions to join as agents of change together with his team which is still relatively small but dynamic enough as: IT Programmer.

Responsibilities
- Understand the results of the analysis and design of the system analysis process to create a system and its application.
- Create and edit program code according to established standards and rules.
- Carry out product testing and improvement processes to obtain the best results.
- Create product technical documents that are carried out comprehensively according to the methods and standards used.
- Create and maintain a complete historical record of all program code being worked on, through the versioning process.
- Make reports related to his work as best and complete as possible.
- Performing the installation, repair and periodic maintenance of IT equipment.
- Participate in maintaining the security and confidentiality of data and work according to the scope of work.
- Follow the coordination and evaluation activities related to his work.
Applicant Qualification Requirements
- Candidate is proficient in using Python (Flask & Django), JavaScript (TypeScript, NodeJS, ReactJS, VueJS) as well as Firebase, MySQL, MongoDB databases.
- Candidates are able to create and read diagrams related to computer programming and are familiar with data and network security systems.
- Candidate mastering Office Suite applications (Ms Office). Mastering Libre Office can be a plus.
- Candidate has good written Indonesian and English language skills and can make reports effectively.
- Candidate has at least 2 years of working experience as a Programmer/Coder.
- Candidates must have a strong interest and motivation to work in a non-profit work environment—particularly with organizations that focus on humanitarian, education, public health, and community sociocultural development.
- Candidate must have good self-motivation skills and ability to meet work deadlines consistently.
- Candidate has fairly good interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with people at all levels with very diverse backgrounds.
- Candidate has excellent problem solving skills and ability to work in groups.
